To challenge myself, I've been learning and incorporating new-to-me stitches that are intricate and heavy on texture into my embroidery work. This new design features fourteen different types of embroidery stitches. It was stitched over many hours with one to three strands of cotton embroidery floss, making it an intricate and delicate piece to be cherished.
Please note: this is a new style of frame. While quite similar in color and style to my previous frames, these are crafted by an American-made, family-owned business out of beautiful aspen wood. Don’t worry, framing hardware and plexiglass are still included, PLUS I’ll now be including a small wooden dowel so you can stand the frame upright (like an easel) if you so desire.
This piece arrives in a white box tied with ribbon, ready for gift-giving.
