I'm starting a new little series on the blog called "Pairs Well With..." where I pair up a Happy Cactus Designs product with another item that it coordinates well with.
First up, the Thank You Tribal Lines card. How perfectly does it pair with these Zara heels?!

One of my favorite new releases from the collection I debuted at the Stationery Show is the Tribal Lines Thank You note card.
I created an organic diamond pattern based off hand-drawn triangle and dot shapes I drew. While I love love love color, I decided to design this card using only black and white. It's both simple and complex, timeless and on-trend.
The Tribal Lines Thank You card is available as a single or as a boxed set of 10 cards. Shop it here.

After a brief hiatus (things have been busy around here!), the card of the week series is back! The Budding Pinks patterned note card was one of the first cards from my earliest collection. It started as a single motif based on an Indian flower design I came across.
I love the lines and sense of motion that the pattern creates. It's the perfect card for a thank you note or any occasion.

This week's card of the week is Thanks Vines, featuring hand-drawn vines. The card comes in two different colorways - a grass green and a medium blue.
One of my favorite things about designing cards is when I'm able to weave the illustration into the lettering so it's almost seamless. Here's a few shots when I first drew the design.
The drawing was done at a much larger scale (about 8" x 12") than the actual card itself (4.25" x 5.5"). Thanks Vines is available as a single card or as a boxed set of 10 cards. You can pick it up in the shop here!

This week's card, Thank You Zinnias, features a detailed hand drawn design of tiny buds reminiscent of zinnias with "Thank You" in turquoise green. All of the tiny "petals" were meticulously hand-drawn by yours truly. The inspiration for this design came from memories of the zinnias that my grandmother planted outside her house annually. The huge blooms would line the fence along the edge of her property and people passing by would always stop to admire the gorgeous flowers. It took a lot of patience to work on this piece, but I was so happy with the outcome.
A client recently asked to use this design for personalized note cards. Did you know any pattern you see on this site can be customized? I love how they turned out!

This week's card of the week is our "Thanks a Bunch!" thank you note card. We released this design at the National Stationery Show in May and it instantly became one of our bestsellers.
It's probably one of my favorite designs, too, with its cheerful bouquet of flowers. While many of the thank you notes in the collection are very floral-driven, this card is perhaps the simplest.
You can purchase "Thanks a Bunch!" in our shop as a single card or boxed set of 10 cards!
